Prof. Dr. T. Shankar is Director of Dr. Gowd's Dental Hospital and its Chief Cosmetic Dental Implantologist. He holds an MDS in Prosthodontics along with FICD, FICOI, and DICOI credentials, and has spent over three decades in implantology — specifically dental implants, prosthodontics, full-mouth rehabilitation, sinus lift procedures, and implant-supported restorations.
He introduced single-day implant protocols at the hospital and established its dedicated implant and full-mouth rehabilitation programme in 2015. He has also treated a number of celebrities and public figures, though those cases stay private unless the patient chooses to speak about it themselves.
