Dr. Snigdha Gowd leads orthodontic and clear aligner care at Dr. Gowd's Dental Hospital and serves as its Chairperson and CEO. In 2001 she became the first orthodontist in India to offer Invisalign — the reason many patients hear her name before they hear the clinic's.
She has held Invisalign Platinum Provider status for three consecutive years, and is the only orthodontist from Telangana to be named Aligner Specialist of the Year by the Famdent Excellence Dentistry Awards, referred to within the industry as the 'Dental Oscars of India.' She also sits on the faculty of the American Orthodontic Society and holds ICOI Diplomate status.
She was separately recognised through ISB's 10,000 Women Entrepreneurs Initiative, an ongoing distinction that reflects her role running a multi-branch practice, not only treating patients.
Every aligner case she takes on is reviewed clinically and mapped into a 3D digital plan before treatment starts, and she walks patients through that plan herself rather than handing it off.
